Lisa & Will Porter

Meet Lisa and Will Porter, a dynamic duo combining decades of expertise in design and construction to transform spaces with creativity and precision.

Lisa is a distinguished designer known for her award-winning creations that captivate both residential and commercial clients. Collaborating with her means embarking on a journey to discover your unique style, culminating in the realization of your dream home, dream room, or commercial space. Experienced in interior design and home renovations, Lisa skillfully blends an eclectic mix of elements to create spaces that authentically reflect her clients’ personalities. Her innovative approach to design has earned her numerous accolades, including multiple Diamond and Crystal Awards from Decorating Den Interiors, and three winning rooms in the 2024 Dream Room Competition to add to her collection of winning rooms over the last several years. In addition to her CID and IDS Professional Credentials,  Lisa  brings extensive experience in product design, project management, marketing, and merchandising.

Will brings over 25 years of leadership in residential and commercial construction. His hands-on approach and commitment to excellence have earned him a reputation for delivering projects on time and within budget. Will’s expertise spans a wide range of construction projects, from overseeing residential developments to managing complex commercial ventures. His collaborative leadership style and dedication to building strong relationships with colleagues and clients make him an invaluable asset to every project.

Together, Lisa and Will offer a seamless, stress-free experience for clients, managing every detail of the design and construction process. Whether crafting innovative interiors or overseeing construction projects, they ensure exceptional results that reflect their clients’ visions. Outside of work, you will find them spending time with their four sons and three dogs. They believe that a balanced personal life fuels professional success.

Breann Bohne
Senior Interior Designer

As an award-winning designer, Breann uses her skills, knowledge, and talents to design unique, functional and alluring homes. She recently was awarded the Eagle Award by Decorating Den Interiors for her exceptional work.

She’s a dynamic human being with spirit and soul who uses her thoughtful nature to take care of and inspire others.  Breann went to a private design school in San Diego where she studied interior architecture and design.  She graduated with a BFA in Interior Design in 2017 and has since made her way to Dallas to continue her lifelong quest to transform one home after another.

Breann particularly enjoys using 3D architectural software, which produces photorealistic renderings that shows clients what their new spaces will look like after completion.  She also has experience with creating construction documents, creating and maintaining harmonious relationships with clients, and is well versed in project leadership.  Breann is able to take the lead in an encouraging way to conjure trust and a solid sense of being taken care of throughout the entire design and implementation process.

Breann lives with her two rescue dogs, Wayne and Dakota, near the heart of Dallas.  She loves to create her own art to hang in her home, cook odd recipes she finds on Pinterest while listening to swing jazz, and camping on the lake.

Kayla Anderson
Interior Designer

Over her years at SPRUCED, Kayla has consistently demonstrated her talent and dedication, earning her place as one of our top designers. Her impressive portfolio features multiple Dream Room awards, as well as a diverse array of sales achievements that highlight her ability to blend creativity with commercial success. Kayla excels at connecting with clients and taking the time to understand their wants and needs. This insight empowers her to translate their visions into breathtaking and functional designs that exceed expectations.

Kayla thrives on taking on and overcoming new challenges, whether it is a full interior design project or a construction project. Her meticulous eye for detail allows her to uncover all aspects of each job, ensuring that every element aligns perfectly with the overall design vision. She believes that great design should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also enhance the client’s lifestyle.

As a graduate from The Art Institute of Dallas, Kayla received her BFA in Interior Design. Prior to her experience at SPRUCED, her experience in business created a foundation that equipped her with a well-rounded understanding of the business side of design.

In her free time, Kayla enjoys unwinding with her cherished Shih Tzu, Max, who shares her enthusiasm for the outdoors, whether they’re taking long walks or enjoying a day of fishing. She also loves cooking and decorating her home, exploring a variety of styles that inspire her creativity. This appreciation for diverse aesthetics extends to her passion for fashion. Kayla’s varied interests reflect her vibrant personality, which she brings to every project, enhancing the collaborative experience for her clients and colleagues alike.

Kindra Dodson
Office Administrator

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Kindra Dodson is a dedicated professional with a passion for both structure and creativity. With over 14 years of experience in the construction industry — starting with her time at Habitat for Humanity — Kindra has built a career that blends technical skill with financial expertise and organizational talent.

Kindra holds two associate degrees: one in Information Technology from Heald College School of Technology (2002) and another in Accounting from American River College (2022). She brings over a decade of experience in construction management and accounting, providing the backbone for successful project execution and financial oversight.

But Kindra’s talents don’t stop at construction — for more than 10 years, she has also pursued her creative side as a wedding planner and event decorator, helping clients bring their most important celebrations to life with style and precision.

Outside of work, Kindra loves shopping, traveling with family and friends, and spending time outdoors — especially fishing and camping. Her unique blend of professional expertise, creative flair, and love for people makes her a dynamic force in everything she does.

Shedona Weary
Design Consultant

Born in New Orleans and raised in Dallas, Shedona brings a unique blend of Southern charm and big-city drive to everything she does. With over two decades of experience in business development and client relationship management, she has dedicated her career to building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional service to her clients. Shedona has thrived professionally by doing what she loves most, building genuine connections and helping clients achieve their goals. As she harbors a strong foundation in real estate as a licensed Realtor, and loan originator, she has developed a deep understanding of how spaces impact lives. Today, as a Design Consultant for SPRUCED, she combines that expertise with a passion for design to help clients create the perfect space.

 Her career has been driven by a simple philosophy: listen first, deliver always.  Her passion for understanding client needs and creating tailored solutions has been the cornerstone of her success. Her focus is on driving growth, fostering partnerships, and ensuring every client’s vision becomes a reality.  Shedona loves to champion creativity and celebrate the art of great design. When she’s not helping clients bring their vision to life, you’ll find her enjoying time with family and her two small dogs—because home is where the heart (and the paws) are.

Sarah Chambers
Junior Designer

Sarah is a Junior Designer, bringing over ten years of experience in the interior design industry. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Cazenovia College in Cazenovia, New York, where she developed a strong foundation in both creative and technical design.

Before joining SPRUCED, Sarah worked for a boutique design firm in Sugar Land, Texas, where she gained valuable experience with high-end furnishings and showroom design. Her background also includes experience in a drapery workroom and retail at Pottery Barn, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of custom textiles, furnishings, and client-focused design solutions.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys cooking and baking, reading, traveling, and fashion—where she finds much of her design inspiration. She also loves spending time with her husband and their two cats, influences that shape her thoughtful, layered approach to creating interiors that are both functional and beautifully curated.

Willie Brown
Warehouse Lead

With over 30 years of experience in the warehousing industry and a decade specializing in furniture relocation, packing, and assembly, Willie Brown brings a deep well of knowledge and hands-on expertise to every project. A native of Eudora, Arkansas, Willie’s journey began early—at just 16, he was thrust into construction work where his natural talent for carpentry, blueprint reading, and craftsmanship quickly stood out.

His strong work ethic, organizational skills, and drive for efficiency were instilled at a young age, following in the footsteps of his grandfather. Willie later attended the University of Central Arkansas, pursuing a degree in Business, further sharpening his leadership and operational skills.

Outside of work, Willie enjoys spending time with family and friends, shooting hoops, fishing, and relaxing near the water. He’s also a fan of dance and theatre. Whether at home or on the job, he takes pride in seeing a task through to completion, finding true satisfaction in a job well done.

Mallory Gentry
Client Engagement Coordinator

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Mallory brings over a decade of experience in the home furnishings industry. With a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Home Furnishings Merchandising from the University of North Texas, she is passionate about design, relationship-building, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Before joining the SPRUCED team, Mallory worked as a Sales Specialist for a home accessories company, where she served as the primary account manager for key national clients including Havertys, Bassett Furniture, and Nebraska Furniture Mart. She then worked as an Account Executive for the DFW and West Texas areas, where she identified growth opportunities, maintained client relationships and participated in major industry trade events.

In her free time, Mallory enjoys spending time with her husband, twin daughters and son, along with their two dogs. She also enjoys catching up with friends, doing pilates, and cooking. She values a well-rounded lifestyle that supports both professional success and personal fulfillment.

Miyah Johnson
Design Assistant

Miyah is a Design Assistant at SPRUCED bringing creativity, dedication, and a growing passion for interior design to every project she supports. She first joined the team as an intern and is currently in her senior year at the University of Texas at Arlington, working toward a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.

Through her academic journey, she has developed a strong foundation in both the technical and conceptual aspects of design. From space planning and material selection to client communication and project presentation, she is eager to continue expanding her skills both in the classroom and in the field.

Outside of her academic and professional life, Miyah enjoys spending quality time with her chocolate brown maltipoo, as well as relaxing with family and friends. She values the balance between her personal and professional life and finds inspiration in the people and experiences around her.

After graduation, her goal is to pursue licensure as a professional interior designer and continue growing within the industry. With a deep appreciation for how thoughtful design can impact the way people live and interact with their environments, Miyah is excited to keep learning, contributing, and building a meaningful career in interior design.
